We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Crew Leader to lead our team of technicians and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Job Description:

The Landscape Crew Leader will oversee and manage a team of landscapers, ensuring that landscaping tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to our clients’ satisfaction. You will be responsible for planning and executing landscaping projects, maintaining quality control, and ensuring that all crew members are properly trained and supported. This position requires a combination of strong leadership, landscaping expertise, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.

• Plan and assign tasks to crew members, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.

• Oversee landscaping projects from start to finish, including lawn maintenance, planting, mulching, pruning.

• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail on all landscaping work.

• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed on job sites.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during projects, ensuring client satisfaction.

• Maintain and operate landscaping equipment, ensuring that all tools are in good working condition.

• Communicate directly with clients to address any concerns or special requests, ensuring their needs are met.

• Track job progress, report on completed work, and assist with scheduling.

• Manage inventory and ensure that the crew has the necessary materials, supplies, and equipment.

• Promote a positive and productive work environment by fostering teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscaping, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, design, and hardscaping.

• Ability to operate a variety of landscaping equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

• Landscape certifications (e.g., pesticide application, irrigation) are a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
