Experience : 1-10 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with specific expertise in Dassault Systèmes 3D Experience (3DX) platform and marine sector applications. Location Requirement : Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken). Beneficial requirements : Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in SQL, data integration, and ETL tools; familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus. Platform Knowledge : Extensive experience with 3DX data management, platform customization, and tool integration within a marine engineering context. Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data requirements in the marine sector. Duties and responsibilities : Data Pipeline Development : Design, build, and optimize data pipelines within the 3DX platform to support engineering processes and ensure seamless data flow. Platform Integration : Implement data integrations with other marine engineering tools and systems, ensuring effective data sharing across platforms. Data Quality Assurance : Develop and enforce data quality standards within the 3DX environment to maintain consistency, accuracy, and reliability. Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze large datasets related to marine design and engineering, generating reports to support data-driven decision-making. User Support & Training : Provide technical support and training to team members on 3DX data usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.
