Job Title : Site Piping Engineer Location : Netherlands Salary : To be discussed in the Interview Vacancy Type : Full-Time Closing date for applications : End Dec 2024 Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required : A bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field. 1-10 years proven experience in piping systems design, installation, and maintenance. Proficiency in piping design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CAESAR II). Location Requirement : Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken). Beneficial requirements : Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Duties and responsibilities : Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems on-site to ensure compliance with engineering designs and project standards. Conduct inspections to verify the quality and integrity of materials and installations. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and optimize workflows. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to guide on-site activities.
