What are the responsibilities and job description for the Perso Machine Operator - 2nd Shift position at Perfect Plastic Printing Corp?
PERSO MACHINE OPERATOR
Current Shift Availability: 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:30PM - 2:00AM
Starting pay: $19 per hour.
New hire bonus: $250 every quarter, up to 1 year, totaling $1,000!
Previous machine experience preferred (embossing, engraving and/or inserting a plus). The Perso Machine Operator will be expected to stand for extended periods of time, loading, quality checking and light maintenance, as well as ability to utilize the computer system to load the appropriate job as indicated by job ticket and ensure proper operation of the machine.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to effective feed and operate the following machines: Maxsys, MXD (Card Affixing Module), BH1000 Inserter & GV-300
- Follow all applicable standard operating procedures.
- Following Perso schedule for daily orders to be produced.
- Submit paperwork to Audit Department for release of secure cards to Perso Department (Material Requirement Form).
- Receives 1st Piece approval from Quality Control personnel before running job.
- Perform In-process inspection of the job to ensure job specifications and quality requirements are being met.
- Stop the job in the event of a major technical problem or if the job is outside the required specifications.
- Stock weekly inventory (Collateral Materials) from the stock room to fulfill orders for that particular week. During this time, it is important that employees practice the proper lifting techniques when transporting boxes.
- Move finished job to next department or station and purging workspace of any items from previous order in accordance with security rules.
- Accurately enters his/her daily production via SFDC Logic Win Trak.
- Keep staging areas organized and ensure paperwork is in place to properly identify all jobs.
- Meet the expected outputs and quality requirements for the machine.
- Maintain established Machine Safety Requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Full understanding of equipment.
- Ability to use tools for minor adjustments.
- Good mathematical/computer skills.
- Works Overtime as necessary
