Pre-Press Technician
Current Shift Availability:
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday: 3:30PM - 2:00AM
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with full benefits offered (i.e. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Match, EAP and more).
Starting Pay Range: $27 - $28/hour (additional $0.50/hour shift differential on top of rate).
New hire bonus: $250 every quarter, up to 1 year, totaling $1,000!
Description:
Currently seeking an experienced Pre-Press Technician for our 2nd Shift. We are Macintosh, PDF-based department working within an offset and screen press house. This is a print production position for preparing files for offset and silk screen printing. This is not a design position. If you are an experienced Designer seeking to move into a production role, please include that intent and your reason in a cover letter. The person in this role must be able to work independently and have excellent problem solving skills.
Requirements
- Must have Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud expertise, including Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Must have 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Color correction experience, with knowledge of trapping for offset printing.
- Experience with Prinect is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills are needed to interact with team members and customer base.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize and work within schedules required.
- Must be a team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Ability to successfully complete a drug screen & background check.
