What are the responsibilities and job description for the EFDA – Dental Assistant position at Perfect Smile Dental?
Well-established General Dentist located in Greensburg, PA is looking for a skilled and experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team.
Candidate will work efficiently and would provide a positive experience for our patients.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have an EFDA license and X-ray certification.
You should also have strong patient skills, be well-organized, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist dentist chairside during a variety of treatment procedures
- Chart and take dental radiographs (Xrays)
- Make temporary crown/bridges, place fillings, perform denture adjustments
- Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures
- Prepare and break down operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit
- Maintain accurate patient records

Compensation is competitive based on experience!
This is a full-time, Monday through Thursday schedule, with some exceptions.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday
- No nights
- No weekends
License/Certification:
- Current radiography certification required
- Current EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) certification required
