Key Responsibilities

As a Home Care Agency Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting the agency's home care services to potential clients and referral sources. You will establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and the community to generate leads and ensure the agency's services are well-represented.

  • Sales Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the community and healthcare settings. - Conduct presentations and demonstrations of home care services to potential clients and referral sources.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, discharge planners, social workers, and community organizations. - Act as a liaison between the agency and clients, ensuring clear communication of services offered.
  • Market Research
  • Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth. - Stay informed about industry changes and regulations that may affect service delivery.
  • Networking
  • Attend community events, health fairs, and networking functions to promote the agency and its services. - Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and referral sources. - Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for management review.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth transition for clients from referral to service delivery. - Participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving sales efforts.

Qualifications -

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in healthcare or home care services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of home care services and the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.

  • Compassionate and empathetic, with a focus on client needs.
  • Work Environment

    The position may require travel to meet with clients and referral sources, as well as attending community events. The representative will work primarily in the field.
