Job Description: As a Certified Medical Technician (CMT), you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and clinical tasks to support the medical team and ensure the highest quality of patient care. Your role will involve assisting with medical procedures, managing equipment, and providing essential support to both patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medical Technician (CMT) 
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols with accuracy.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to handle physical tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine medical procedures and technical tasks as directed by healthcare professionals, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and preparing patients for examinations.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Assist with the preparation and administration of medications and treatments, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor and document patients’ conditions and progress, reporting any significant changes to the medical staff.
• Provide direct patient care, including assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and other daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment by adhering to infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR.
• Valid CMT certification
