- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist with insurance verification and patient registration processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and staff.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Support the dental or medical office in maintaining a clean and organized environment for patients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
