Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team in Texas. The QMHP will provide essential mental health services to individuals in various settings, including outpatient clinics, community-based programs, and telehealth platforms. This role is vital in supporting individuals with mental health challenges and promoting recovery through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and modify plans as necessary.
2. Therapeutic Support:
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups to enhance clients’ understanding of mental health issues and coping strategies.
3. Crisis Intervention:
- Respond to mental health crises and provide immediate support and interventions.
- Develop safety plans and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
4. Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals.
- Coordinate care with external providers, family members, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and interventions in compliance with Texas state regulations.
- Prepare reports for funding sources and regulatory agencies as required.
6. Advocacy and Education:
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the mental health system and community.
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions and available services.
7. Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of [3 years] of experience in mental health services or related field.

- **Licensure/Certification:**
