Human Resources Assistant – Temporary - San Rafael - $35-$40/hour
Are you organized, detail-oriented, looking to gain HR experience? Our client is seeking a Temporary HR Assistant to provide administrative support to their dynamic HR team.
This role will focus on personnel records management and data entry/administrative tasks. Your ability to take direction, work autonomously and handle sensitive information with discretion and accuracy is essential.
As a member of a collaborative HR team, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while sharpening your Human Resources expertise.
Start Date: 1/6/25
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some flexibility)
Location: Onsite in San Rafael, CA
Requirements: Clear criminal background and drug screening (no medical marijuana exceptions)
Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review and manage personnel records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Organize and input data related to employee training and compliance into the HR database.
- Assist with streamlining and updating personnel record-keeping processes.
- Perform I-9 verification and auditing.
- Provide administrative support for employee benefits
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures through meticulous record management.
What You Bring:
- Human Resources experience: preferred but not required
- Communication skills: Exemplary verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail: Highly organized with a knack for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Discretion and confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
