Responsibilities:
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain shop special tools and equipment and return when jobs are completed.

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Maintain Bay in an orderly manner
- Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean and undamaged
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Ability to learn new technology, repairs and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate diagnostic equipment and computers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Inspector license preferred
