Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Typical titles include Materials Handler, Distribution Center Generalist.

Store, pack, and handle material following standard procedures and methods.

• Operate a forklift to maintain storage areas and load/unload trucks.
• Operate a tow motor to maintain storage areas and load trucks.
• Put materials away.
• Work in a safe manner in a busy warehouse environment.
• Prior Use of Handheld scanning devices (Barcode, RFID, etc.) a plus.
• Uses scales, pallet wrapping.
