We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Housekeeper to join our team. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and overall upkeep of assigned residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Sanitation -
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and scrub all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures in residential spaces.
- Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and floors, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries as needed.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste.
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, including countertops, sinks, appliances, and floors.
Detailing -
- Deep clean areas as required, such as baseboards, ceiling fans, light fixtures, and vents.
- Ensure all surfaces, including furniture, are dusted and polished.
- Handle delicate items (e.g., antiques, electronics) with care, following proper cleaning protocols.
Inventory Management -
- Track and manage cleaning supplies, restocking them as needed.
- Inform supervisor when supplies are running low or need replacement.
Client Interaction & Cultural Respect -
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with clients or guests.
- Address specific cleaning requests or preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Report any issues or damage to property promptly.
- Must be comfortable removing shoes at the door of client's homes (house shoes will be provided).
General Requirements -
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with adaptability.
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Accommodation to religious-specific households & respecting different cultures and household rules.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- A valid driver’s license (required for transportation purposes).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Reference check (personal & professional)
- MUST have reliable transportation, as this is a travelling position.
- MUST be able to travel up to 25 miles outside of Sacramento.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and reach high areas.
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, and kneeling.

- Paid training & probationary period up to 30 days after hire.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
