Work Schedule : Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, eight hours a day, forty hours a week. Additional hours may be required based on workload and requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Director is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and generating leads for Business Enablement Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. A successful candidate will work closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Information Technology, Indirect Acquisition Sales, Infrastructure Solutions, Connected Solutions, Installation Services, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to align efforts and achieve the company's strategic goals.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive company growth.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Marketing, Engineering, Legal, Logistics, and Finance, to align efforts and achieve business goals.
- Drive revenue with companies five business divisions : IT Services, Indirect Acquisition Sales, Infrastructure Solutions, Connected Solutions, and Installation Services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
- Generate leads and develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to ensure long-term client partnerships.
- Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), preferred.Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or a related field.Proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong project management and organizational skills.Computer Skills
Computer literate in a Microsoft Office environment with the ability to learn new software and applications.Microsoft Excel – Advanced level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating a spreadsheet, formatting a spreadsheet, using the formula bar to perform various functions, importing / exporting documents, and calculating numbers. Advanced Formula knowledge is preferred.Microsoft Outlook – Advanced level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, sending, forwarding, and replying to messages, attaching computerized files, utilizing calendar and task reminders, viewing several calendars, sharing calendars, creating and sending meeting requests, and creating contact lists.Microsoft Word – Advanced level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, editing, naming and saving documents, formatting text, and printing.Microsoft Power point – Advanced level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, editing, naming and saving documents, formatting text, and printing. Develop and articulate the story composed.Internet Explorer or other web browsers – Intermediate level.
