What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional PPE/CI Manager position at Perfetti Van Melle?
The Regional PPE/CI Manager is responsible for establishing and managing a Project Management Operations (PMO) for the NA Supply Chain team . This role will work closely with the NA Supply Chain Leadership Team and other key stakeholders within the business, such as Commercial, Engineering, Finance teams to ensure that the right strategic projects are being done at the right time to meet the “Delivering Sweet Experiences Driven by 5x Zero” objectives. Additionally, this role will assist the NA Supply Chain LT to maintain operational excellence, effective project execution, and oversight for various supply work streams. Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance in the planning, design, and prioritization of business initiatives and projects as defined by the VP NA Operations.
- Oversight for key Supply initiatives by working closely with the NA Ops LT to manage projects, participate in S&OP process, collaborate with other team leaders, resolve issues, and drive the success of business initiatives.
- Manage a Project master map and agenda. Makes recommendations for resources allocation
- Coordinate FMI agenda for the Operations team
- Leads Project Development Leaders for main Operations projects
- Manage the development of current and target KPIs for each major business process. Establish and manage the tracking mechanism to monitor KPI performance and business benefits.
- Supports Plant Managers to overcome obstacles that prevent attainment and ultimately improve plant operations.
- Ensure that the required business change is implemented effectively at the plant level with minimal business disruption.
- Demonstrate a quality culture in actions and words.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Technical, or similar disciplines and/or 4 years of relevant experience in the similar fields.
- Lean management system and selected Lean tool application
- Experience in project management with specific experience in project execution
- Minimum 4 years manufacturing or operations experience.
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills across all levels within the business
- Strong ability to solve business problems in creative ways
- Business process orientation and knowledge of S&OP
- Skill in implementing business and systems oriented change
- In-depth understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, plant maintenance and buying processes
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Managing and delivering results against large projects, involving senior managers, requiring complex change management.
