What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader position at Perficut?
Position Overview
This hourly, full-time, year-round position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience. The employee spends most of the time in the field leading a crew.
Day-to-Day Stuff
- Perform the work requested, in the timeframe requested, and to the level of professionalism demanded by members of Team Perficut
- Provide leadership and inspire team of 2 - 3 crew members to complete daily required tasks with special attention placed on quality standards and adherence to safety program
- Demonstrate expertise in operating equipment and tools needed to perform daily tasks
- Provide basic training to crew members
- Perform light maintenance on equipment needed to perform daily tasks
- Provide verification of crew hours worked
- Accurately complete project paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Characteristics Needed to Succeed
- Valid driver’s license and have the ability to be added onto company’s insurance policy
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate mastery of skills gained through prior training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with peers and teammates
- Able to assess situations and make appropriate decisions
- Proficient using basic, in-field technology
- Must be able to work in a safety aware environment
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Ability to work outside regular business hours as needed

- Ability to generate up to 125 lbs. of push/pull force to maneuver various equipment/supplies

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be expected to work outside in all types of weather conditions; conditions include occasional extreme heat exposure due to natural climate. The noise level in the work environment can be loud; vibration levels are moderate.
