Position Summary:

Perforce Software has a unique opportunity for a candidate with a treasury or tax background interested in expanding their capabilities in a rapidly growing business. The right individual will be asked to work with our tax and treasury manager to help achieve our management and treasury goals. This position will get exposure across the business by working closely with audit, legal and business development. Gaining experience with a large international company’s treasury function, as well as exposure to all areas of federal, state, and international tax.

Responsibilities:

• Assist audit team with income tax audit requests
• Respond to state, federal, and foreign tax authority inquiries
• Assist with sales tax compliance, reviewing Avalara reports to ensure state and local non-income tax compliance for economic nexus and setting up additional state registrations as necessary
• Work with third-party tax advisors to coordinate and provide support for the timely delivery of all domestic and international corporate income filings for all legal entities of the company
• Prepare account reconciliations for various direct and indirect tax accounts
• Coordinate with fellow team members on indirect tax compliance (VAT, GST, etc.)
• Assist with implementation of Perforce’s transfer pricing methodology, including calculating timely/periodic transfer pricing adjustments.
• Monitor Tax mailbox and escalate issues as needed
• Collaborate with and support global cross-functional teams in business development, legal, finance, accounting and treasury
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Technical expertise in understanding tax requirements for an international company
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
• Operational experience with a major accounting system (ex: NetSuite, Intacct, Oracle, SAP etc.)
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, and problem-solving skills
