Position Summary :
Director, Software Engineering at Perforce is searching for a Principal Software Engineer to join the Helix Core Cloud. The Principal Software Engineer will have extensive experience in software engineering with the ability to build robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Experience and / or interest in working with multiple programming languages is an asset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work within a cross-functional team
- At least 10 years' experience with end-to-end design, development, delivery and operations of multi-tenant SaaS products across one or more public clouds such as AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
- Highly desirable to have a solutions architect or similar certification from a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proven experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, diagnosis and remediation for multi-tenant SaaS applications deployed on a public cloud
- Solid understanding of modern cloud applications and concepts, such as fault tolerance, compliance, scalability, and consistency, cost optimization for cloud applications.
- Knowledge of Agile software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation in a collaborative and distributed team environment
- Proven experience with microservices based architectures, containerized applications & developing hyperscale cost effective cloud applications
- Impeccable problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with Product Management and Engineering Leadership across time zones and geographies.
Responsibilities :
146,200 - $194,464 a year
