Position Summary:
Performance Academies LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enrollment Recruiter to reach families and enroll students for our 7 schools in Columbus. The ideal candidate understands why parents choose charter schools, and is a proven producer for organizations that are important in their local community, such as churches, gyms, healthcare, and similar local businesses. The Enrollment Recruiter connects well with school age families in our school neighborhoods, and develops productive enrollment channels. This role requires the personality, dignity, and enthusiasm of an ambassador, and the friendly persistence of a best friend.
Full-time and part-time hourly positions are available.
Responsibilities:

• Enroll Families: Create and implement targeted recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals for each school.
• Develop Community Enrollment Channels: Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, neighborhood leaders, faith-based institutions, businesses, and other groups to promote their neighborhood Performance Academy school.
• Neighborhood Outreach: Actively engage one-on-one with families and prospective students in designated neighborhoods through door-to-door outreach, community events, and local partnerships.
• Information Sessions and School Tours: Plan and conduct engaging information sessions for prospective families and coordinate school tours to showcase our programs and facilities.
• Application Assistance: Guide prospective families through the application process, answer questions, and fill out the forms with them as needed.
• Data Tracking and Reporting: Always know your data and key indicators, use company systems to report and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, track families’ progress towards enrollment, and provide regular reports to leadership.
• Collaboration with School Teams: Work closely with school principals, admissions staff, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and effective enrollment process.
• Represent Performance Academies: Serve as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic representative of Performance Academies at community events, school fairs, and other recruitment opportunities.
• Charter School Expertise: Explain the benefits of the Performance Academy charter schools and our truly unique offerings.
• Stay Informed: Remain current on local school choice options, activities of nearby charter schools, and relevant community demographics.
• Develop Recruitment Materials: Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop effective recruitment materials, including online and paper enrollment forms, flyers, brochures, and social media content.

 
Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in enrollment recruitment, preferably with charter schools.
• Demonstrate strong connections and established relationships within diverse neighborhoods in Columbus, Ohio.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Helpful to be conversational in non-English languages spoken amongst Columbus area immigrant families.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend community events and meet with families.
• Proficient in standard computer applications and data entry.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Salary Range:
