Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join our team in the janitorial services industry. This role supports the Account Manager in overseeing cleaning contracts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring high service quality. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in facility maintenance or janitorial services.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Account Management:

  • Assist the Account Manager in managing client accounts, ensuring their cleaning needs are met.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and site visits.
  • Address client concerns promptly and work towards quick resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with service agreements and contractual obligations.

Operations & Supervision:

  • Oversee janitorial staff and ensure adherence to schedules and performance standards.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating janitorial team members.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to company standards.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of schedules, and supplies.
  • Assist with scheduling, work orders, and staff assignments.
  • Prepare reports on account performance, staffing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support budgeting and cost control efforts related to janitorial contracts.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in janitorial services, facility management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate cleaning staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling software.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
