Job Description
PCI is seeking an experienced full-time Driver for its PCI Madison 574 operations based in Madison, WI. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Follow DOT and company regulations / safety standards
Inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle
Material and tool delivery to our job sites
Order pulling, truck loading and unloading, packaging, shipping, receiving and material handling
Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift
Operate pallet jack and/or forklift in a safe and responsible manner
Communicate with jobsite foremen to ensure efficient transportation
Communicate with superintendent to receive direction on schedule changes
Basic Requirements
Must have current valid driver’s license and be able to pass a MVR (motor vehicle report)
Must be dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator
Must be able to perform regular heavy lifting when handling materials
Must be at least 18 years old
Prolonged periods standing and working outside
Physically able to perform assigned tasks
Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time
Some overtime may be required
Preferred Requirements
Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts a plus
