PCG is seeking an experience Manager of Government Compliance for its Corporate Legal operations based in Lenexa, KS. This individual will:
Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to government regulations, including but not limited to:
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Davis-Bacon Act
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
Other relevant laws and regulations governing government contracts and construction projects.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with project teams, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to specific projects and contracts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and communication.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance obligations, ethical standards, and best practices.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Investigate complaints, allegations, or incidents of non-compliance, leading thorough investigations and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, audits, and corrective actions.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in the construction industry or government contracting
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to government contracts, construction projects, labor laws, and workplace safety
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to practical situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and delivering training sessions
Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and ethical standards
Willing to travel up to 20%
Preferred Requirements:
Advanced degree or certification in compliance, law, or a relevant discipline is preferred
Located in the Kansas City Metro Area OR willingness/ability to relocate
