Job Description
Job duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Work around and/or remove materials that have potential to create hazardous exposure, including but not limited to asbestos, lead-containing materials, and mold
- Site mobilization, initial site clean-up, and site preparation
- Use hand tools, power equipment, and other machinery to remove materials
- Package toxic materials and load them onto trucks for disposal
- Adhere to health and safety protocols
- Work outdoors, inside buildings, or in confined spaces
- On-the-job training offered
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
- Must be comfortable working from heights
- Must have reliable transportation
