POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Technician is responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. This position applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment
- Install, start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements
- Inform appropriate management of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved
- Maintain company required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance functions
- Assist and train other maintenance and other technical level employees
- Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
- Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting
- Basic written and verbal skills
- Must be reliable and have good time management skills
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
