POSITION SUMMARY
The Load Out Man is responsible for arranging and loading material, equipment and/or supplies for shipment to various offshore locations (projects).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools
- Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using appropriate bolts and clamps
- Operate forklifts to move material, equipment and/or supplies
- Manipulate rigging lines, hoists and pulling gear to move or support equipment or materials
- Signal or verbally direct individuals engaged in hoisting and moving loads in order to ensure safety of workers and materials
- Test rigging equipment routinely to ensure safety and reliability
- Ensure that all required material, equipment and/or supplies for a project are accounted for and loaded onto a mode of transportation for shipment
- Maintain clean working areas and practices good housekeeping
- Clean and return tools and equipment to proper place after use
- Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
- Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 3 years experience operating equipment used in rigging procedures
- Basic written and verbal skills
- Ability to perform basic level mathematical skills
- Must have the ability to perform work accurately
- Must be reliable and have good time management skills
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
