Production C Operator-Offshore
POSITION SUMMARY
You will serve in a key role with your knowledge and experience in operating a variety of surface production equipment, compressors, pumps, generators, PLC, and pneumatic control panels. You will be required to take instruction and perform in assisting in well testing, and platform maintenance, along with performing testing and inspection of safety systems and equipment under the instruction of senior operators and as required by law and customer policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitors and records the production of gas, oil, and water from computer and meter readings.
· Performs regulatory inspections which involve tasks such as: testing setpoint pressures and levels, testing safety device operation time, visual inspection of devices, and recording data on required forms for computer input.
· Performs visual inspections by walking around facility and equipment to check for pollution, leaks, temperature variances, and mechanical problems; inspecting wellheads for leaks and deficiencies; making appropriate repairs and adjustments and recording data on required forms for computer input.
· Inputs data from recorded levels and pressures in the computer for daily or periodic reporting.
· Performs minor mechanical and equipment repairs as required on items such as pumps and valves.
· Cleans equipment and work area to keep them free of oil, trash, and other debris or filth.
· Performs mandated inspections on safety and fire extinguishing equipment by checking the general condition and gauge pressures.
· Runs and pulls pigs according to an established schedule, inserting and removing the pig from the trap either by hand or using a hoist.
· Proactively prioritize and plan workdays based on job tasks, weather, transportation, and available materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
· Must have Skills, Knowledge, and current Training certificates in Offshore Production Operations.
· Self-motivated, and eager to further knowledge of production operations, process equipment, and paperwork/reports.
· Assist with crane and lifting including rigging and slinging.
· Plan and Prepare for Emergency Response.
· Take production readings and shakeouts.
· Participate in BSEE testing and paperwork, and production reports.
· Participate in all safety meetings and JSA processes.
· Must have knowledge of basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
· Experience with pneumatic panels and devices.
· Organization skills and ability to work with a team.
· Excellent Interpersonal Communication skills in a team environment.
· Safety Oriented
· 1 years of Oil & Gas production operations with working knowledge/experience preferred.
· High School Grad or GED. Some college or technical training is preferred.
· Valid U.S. Driver's License with a safe driving record.
CERTIFICATIONS/SAFETY TRAINING REQUIRED
· T-2 Certified as per company Subpart “O” Training Plan.
· Certified in Crane/Rigger Operations as required by API RP 2D (must have a valid certificate during the contract period).
· Trained in Medic First Aid/CPR, Water Survival/HUET, Fire Fighting, OSHA, & Safe Gulf.
· Trained in Environmental rules and regulations pertaining to oil & gas production.
· Trained in pertinent State and Federal regulations.
· Trained in company policies and procedures as outlined in the new hire orientation.
Additional training may be required in order to meet company or customer standards or expectations.
