Under the direction of the Risk/Compliance Manager, acts as a liaison between the operating companies, third party administrators, and corporate risk team with projects as assigned, including training and assistance in monitoring the company's DOT compliance programs.
Position Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Risk/Compliance Manager, acts as a liaison between the operating companies, third party administrators, and corporate risk team with projects as assigned, including training and assistance in monitoring the company's DOT compliance programs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with operating company managers through emails and phone calls as necessary to ensure that all required information is collected and reported to corporate and/or 3rd party vendors as it relates to DOT compliance programs and systems.
- Review compliance reports and provide feedback to locations by identifying compliance issues and incorporating procedural improvements aimed at increasing DOT compliance and reducing the risk exposure of each location.
- Prepares and distributes reports on a periodic basis for compliance programs, including drug testing, CSA/Vigillo, Accident Register, Driver Qualification files, and others as needed. Prepares allocated invoices for same programs, as needed.
- Monitors and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance data for completeness, accuracy, and trends. Works with locations as needed to correct deficiencies.
- Gather data for audits, prepare reports, update training guides, and provide solutions/recommendations to address compliance concerns
- Periodically reconciles company data against 3rd party and DOT data.
- Follows up on accident data to ensure receipt of DOT-required items in Risk Management system.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
