Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse, Worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions activities within our warehouse.
The Warehouse, Worker performs shipping and/or receiving functions in a timely manner while maintaining inventory and warehouse work areas, observing all safety regulations, and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Ensures accurate inventories for all goods. Account for any loss.
Manages and reduces on the spot out of stock and works with Operations to solve re-occurring out of stock issues.
Ensures all repackaged products go back on the floor and that all products are reporting correctly in SAP.
Maintains route paperwork along with processing created routes weekly and add-on orders for routes daily.
Enter route information – times for loading, mis-picks (route tracker, benchmarking).
Process returns.
Release items from hold status at all locations including satellite locations.
Coordinate with production on in-house products, including shortages.
Coordinate with customer service on item code changes.
Process Alaska Bill of Lading and all placards and paperwork.
Coordinate with Purchasing Department on incoming items and locate missing/unaccounted product.
Process add-on information to proper personnel.
Relay route information specifics, palletized stops, extra pallets, strips and locks.
Filing and organizing of incoming paperwork for products.
Other duties as assigned.
