As a delivery driver, you are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers. You will ensure that customers' products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.
The role requires driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes, delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
You will be responsible for:
- Pre/Post Trip Inspections: checking the tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Safety Guidelines: following all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Trailer Inspection: inspecting the trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Paperwork: completing all required paperwork associated with freight in an accurate and legible fashion.
- Routine Tasks: moving tractor to the loading dock, attaching preloaded trailer as needed, driving to and delivering customer orders, unloading products from the trailer, and transporting items into designated customer storage areas.
Requirements include:
- Valid CDL A
- Commercial Driving Experience: 12 months
