Growth Opportunities in Food Distribution
We are seeking experienced CDL-B holders to join our team of food delivery drivers. As a critical part of the country's food supply chain, our drivers play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their products on time and in good condition.
The Driver is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers. This includes pre/post trip inspections, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and following company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Drive safely and efficiently to deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedules.
- Unload products from the trailer and transport them into designated customer storage areas.
- Perform damage control checks, scan items, and contact supervisors as needed.
- Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.
In addition to safe and timely delivery, our drivers must also be able to:
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including paperwork and signatures.
- Manage trailer security and cleanliness, including locking equipment and removing trash.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor and loading dock area.
