Commercial Vehicle Repair Expert Job Description:
This Commercial Vehicle Repair Expert role is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel equipment for our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and lubrication checks on fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with onboard computers, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Train and guide junior mechanics to develop their skills and knowledge in diesel technology.
- Ensure all company fleet vehicles are properly registered and licensed before use.
- Document work orders and repairs using our Enterprise Asset Management system.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
- Prior experience with tire and wheel, air and air disc brakes, computerized diagnostics, and refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace is essential.
