Fleet Maintenance Specialist Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist Class B to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our medium to heavy-duty diesel equipment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and convertor dollies.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintain diesel equipment, including brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical components.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance through our online Enterprise Asset Management system.
