Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include completing and performing preventative maintenance on minor repairs and standard component inspections/repairs of fleet diesel equipment. You will also install, replace, and repair onboard computers, inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.

You will also install, replace, and repair onboard computers, inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
Other related duties may include training/providing guidance to other Mechanics, performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery, and using hand tools like screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools like pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
