Job Title: Diesel Technician - Class A
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician - Class A to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and overhauling all company fleet diesel equipment to ensure a safe operation for associates' usage and ensure compliance standards are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics and repairs medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, convertor dollies, and maintenance vehicles under minimal supervision.
- Completes overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions.
- Performs preventative maintenance on minor repairs and standard component inspections/repairs of fleet diesel equipment.
- Ensures equipment has required licensing and registration prior to being deemed as 'roadworthy.'
- Completes thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 5-7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
