Job Summary:
The Diesel Mechanic Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and guiding other mechanics in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and lubrication of equipment
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and transmissions
- Train and guide other mechanics on best practices and procedures
- Ensure all vehicles are properly licensed and registered
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
- Proven skills in PM's, tire & wheel, air & disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electronic component repair
