Job Summary
We are seeking a Shuttle Driver to join our team, performing essential work to support America's food distribution system. The ideal candidate will have 12 months commercial driving experience and hold a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Transport empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Fulfill all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
- Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
- Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailer.
- Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean.
Working Hours:
The Shuttle Driver will work a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday – Thursday nights, with schedules may vary.
Requirements:
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement
