Key Responsibilities
The Heavy-Duty Vehicle Repair Specialist performs preventative maintenance of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies under minimal supervision. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Completes and performs preventative maintenance on minor repairs and standard component inspections/replacements of fleet diesel equipment.
- Ensures equipment has required licensing and registration prior to being deemed as 'roadworthy'.
- Completes thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent and 3 - 5 years of proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair are required for this position.
