Join our team as a CDL Class A delivery driver at Performance Foodservice! As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food and related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
About the Role:
- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes to deliver food and related products to customers.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure accurate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety of your vehicle and the products being transported.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate with dispatchers to plan and manage your route.
- Collaborate with other drivers and logistics staff to ensure seamless delivery operations.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- 12 months of commercial driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
