Job Title:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
About the Job:
- Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local routes, including Saturdays, to deliver food and food-related products to customers.
- Deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Complete required paperwork associated with freight in an accurate and legible fashion.
- Unload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
- Verify delivery of items with the customer and obtain proper signatures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills:
- Valid CDL B license.
- 6-12 months commercial driving experience.
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
