Job Description:
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pmPerforms general groundskeeping/landscape duties outside, collect and dispose of trash and debris from main warehouse property. Performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation related job tasks outside the warehouse facility, including cutting grass, and keeping landscape cleaned and trimmed, snow removal during winter months and other duties as assigned. Performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles. General cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup and use of compactor. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals. Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned per business need.
Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines. Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates. Is certified to operate all required equipment.
Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
Handles emptying trash cans from outside and cleaning smoking area and fuel aisles, cleaning under compactor several times a week.
Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification:
3 – 6 Months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
