The Performance Foodservice team is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of medium to heavy-duty diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, refrigeration units, and converter dollies under minimal supervision.
- Identify root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required.
- Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration prior to being deemed as roadworthy.
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through our online Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
