About the Role
The Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our fleet by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies under minimal supervision
- Completes thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
- Installs, replaces, and repairs onboard computers
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition
Requirements
To be successful as a Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B, you will require 3-5 years of experienced mechanics with expertise in diesel repair and diagnostic systems. A High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent is also required.
