As a Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of our fleet by performing preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmission systems
- Ensure all vehicles are properly licensed and registered before hitting the road
- Document all work performed using our online Enterprise Asset Management system
- Train and mentor junior technicians to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair. Proficiency in computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration systems is essential.
