Diesel Mechanic Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months of experience in truck/automotive maintenance, with advanced skills knowledge equivalent to training in truck/automotive maintenance. Additionally, the successful applicant will possess a High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
Responsibilities:
- Service and repair refrigeration units, repair engines, and replace defective parts or components.
- Perform major repair work to tractors and trailers, disassemble, remove, repair or replace defective parts or components.
- Operate electric arc welding equipment to repair ramps, ladders, and tripods.
- Maintain required logs, records, checklists, and reports.
