About Our Team
We are seeking a heavy duty truck technician to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing medium to heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment.
- Repair: Diagnose and repair diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with industry standards.
- Training: Train and guide other Mechanics in their roles.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
- Certifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in refrigeration and/or overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions.
Benefits:
- Pay: Competitive pay rate of $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
