Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medium to Heavy Duty Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of company fleet diesel equipment.
This role involves performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will also provide guidance to other mechanics and maintain a safe and inclusive working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
- Trains/provides guidance to other Mechanics
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 3-5 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience
