**Job Summary**
As a Transportation Supervisor at Performance Foodservice, you will play a critical role in supporting America's food distribution system. Your responsibilities will include supervising and training drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train drivers to meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations
- Monitor DOT logs and ensure drivers are compliant with all regulations
- Coordinate tracking of relevant information on drivers, including license status, traffic tickets, accidents, and other risk and safety-related data
- Ensure accurate completion of all delivery and driver-related paperwork
- Maintain all trucks, tractors, and trailers through detailed review of post-trip inspections
- Work with the Transportation or Operations Manager to minimize operating expenses and ensure efficient routing of deliveries
Requirements:
- Class A Driver's License
- Transportation or related experience, including experience in operation of computerized fleet management systems
