At Performance Foodservice, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled CDL A delivery driver to join our team. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting food products to customers in a timely manner.
About the Job
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes, delivering food products to customers throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food products to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Perform pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Inspect trailers to ensure they are properly loaded and secured
- Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated customer storage areas
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid CDL A license
- 12 months of commercial driving experience
- The ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Good communication skills
