About the Role
- This Class A CDL delivery driver position is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Performance Foodservice.
- As a delivery driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of food and food-related products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes.
- You will interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
- You will perform all required safety checks, including inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Requirements
- You must have 12 months commercial driving experience.
- You must have a valid CDL A and meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
- You must be 21 years of age and have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
